aerik woodams

aerik (they/them) is a white settler living in so-called Toronto, Canada; Mississaugas of the Credit, Anishnabeg, Chippewa, Haudenosaunee and Wendat land. They grew up rurally south of the 49th parallel, also on Haudenosaunee land. aerik is currently focusing their energy on queer/trans/disabled mutual aid and centring mad, sick, disabled, poor and working class brilliance and leadership in social justice movement spaces. They are thrilled to be a long-time care clinic participant, facilitator and tech support lead, doing so continues to challenge and change them, expanding their sense of what is possible. They offer deep gratitude to their communities, mentors, ancestors and lineages; all the beings who have and continue to teach and support them in person, across distance and in spirit <3

A photo of aerik. aerik has fair pink skin with long, straight, brown hair on their head and a thick beard on their face. They are wearing turquoise eyeglasses. They are looking at the camera, smiling, and behind them is a naturescape with trees on the sides of a rocky stream.
