aerik woodams

aerik woodams is a white settler living in Tkaronto (aka Toronto, Canada) who grew up rurally south of the 49th Parallel, also on Haudenosaunee land. aerik acknowledges and honours their disabled, working and middle class roots, alongside their queer, trans, mad, sick, neurodivergent and poor present, communities and lineages. They are a care worker, writer, educator, consultant and activist currently focusing their energy on transforming healthcare systems and co-creating alternative models of care and healing within queer, trans and disabled communities. They offer deep gratitude to all of the beings who contribute to the continuing growth of their work and understandings; past, present, in spirit, and across distance.
