Kareen (they/them) is a queer Filipinx community organizer and facilitator with over a decade in social and economic justice movements. Their work and organizing spans from the U.S. to South Africa to Myanmar to the Philippines in interactive and popular education, human rights and anti-imperialism activism, training of organizers and facilitators, teaching on the Global Non-Profit Industrial Complex, and youth leadership development.

Kareen volunteers with the Filipino Migrant Center and organizes with numerous organizations on global solidarity for the Filipino poor and working class and against imperialism. Kareen is based on unceded Tongva land also known as Los Angeles, CA.

At PeoplesHub, Kareen manages the operations side of our programming, administering the front end and back end of our systems.
