COVID-19 Resources
As an online movement training school grounded in disability justice, PeoplesHub remains committed to providing resources and information about the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We recognize that COVID denialism both contributes to and is a product of increased repression. Learn more about the Resisting COVID Denialism Community of Practice.

About the Committee
It became an extension of the organizational work related to disability justice that began in late 2019. The members were PeoplesHub staff Dustin Gibson, PeoplesHub Disability Justice fellow Ngozi Alston, PeoplesHub trainer Deborah Rosenstein, and PeoplesHub guest trainer JD Davids. In 2025 the group meets with the same people minus JD, who rotated out, and adding Emi Kane of Long COVID Justice rotated in.
The committee's work has primarily focused on co-creating analysis and knowledge about COVID risks and grassroots responses. This knowledge has informed PeoplesHub's policies on in-person events and our disability justice priorities. Some important outcomes include the living COVID-19 Resources page (maintained by member Deborah Rosenstein) and the Resisting COVID Denialism Strategy Clinics. The clinics were designed to be a practice space to collaborate with other people and groups that are resisting COVID denialism and strengthen and build deeper connections outside of social media, and it has evolved into an ongoing Resisting COVID Denialism of Community of Practice comprised of attendees of the clinic series.
The committee's current work includes maintaining the COVID-19 Resources page, providing materials for staff and trainers related to risk and safety, providing input into PeoplesHub programs related to Covid denialism and disability justice, and contributing their knowledge to the PeoplesHub newsletter.
