Rosario Barraza

Rosario (she/her) is a Latina and First-generation student at Florida State University double majoring in Latin America & Caribbean History and International Affairs. She is originally from Lima, Peru but moved and lived in Miami, FL since the age of seven. In Miami, she was able to be part of different community organizations in the area, such as Dream Defenders, United We Dream, and PowerU that helped nourish and educate her desire to be a community organizer. Last year, she became a fellow of Dissenters Organization and started her own chapter in Tallahassee, Florida where she is currently working with students to dismantle militarism funding in public institutions.
